THE HUMANFARM EXPERIMENT
A beginning, with an open future.
The premise
In the standard mission, 394 people leave Earth at 18. Seven years later they land, aged 25, on an Earth-like planet. They begin without assigned couples or families. New relationships and communities emerge through simulated life.
The mission uses 197 countries of origin as a model convention. Origin does not determine anyone's abilities or personality.
The record
HumanFarm follows individual lives within a shared world. Every edition preserves its world, people and stories at a recorded moment in time.
Open the numbered sources beside a story to inspect its evidence. Missing conversations, private motives and unrecorded history are left unknown.
The open question
Can a society grow from this beginning? Work, care, supplies, relationships and crises all shape the experiment.
This is a fictional simulation, not a scientifically validated forecast of humanity. Its stories describe what happened in the model.

Explore the works collected in HumanFarm’s Info & Research library. They inform the questions we ask about individuals and societies; they do not validate the simulation or supply universal rules for human behaviour.
